FAQ's |
What is Physical Therapy? |
- It is important for you to realize that active
participation in your health care is absolutely vital to a
successful rehabilitation experience. One of the most
important things you can do to speed up your recovery is
attend your scheduled appointments. Your
physician of therapist usually determines the number of
visits that will be appropriate for your condition.
Experience has taught us that the more consistent or
compliant you are with your treatment regimen, the better
chance you have making a full recovery. We understand that
situations will arise that make it difficult to keep all of
your appointments. If you are unable to make an appointment,
we ask that you give us a 24-hour notice of cancellation.
|
How much will this cost? |
- Upon receipt of your insurance information, Premier
Physical Therapy will confirm your individual physical
therapy benefits with your insurance provider. The level of
coverage differs from plan to plan. It is not uncommon to
have a co-pay, co-insurance or deductible. On your first
visit our Office Manager will sit down with you and have a
one on one consultation explaining your benefits to you. If
you do not have health insurance Premier Physical Therapy
offers a variety of flexible payment options so you have the
opportunity to realize the benefits of physical therapy. It
is the client’s ultimate responsibility to understand their
insurance benefits, but we will assist you as much as
possible in all insurance and billing matters.
|
How often will I have to come? |
- Your physician and therapist usually determine the
frequency and duration of your course of physical therapy.
Factors that influence the frequency and duration include
your diagnosis, age, surgical procedure and the severity of
your injury. Keep in mind everyone heals and responds to
therapy differently. Premier Physical Therapy will make
every effort to accommodate your schedule to maximize your
visits.
